We have three important themed fixtures for the year, design to support Club Cricket. Check out the details below and make sure your Club takes full advantage.
1. Community Fundraiser - Sunday 8 May, CB40 v Yorkshire @ Canterbury.
Concept -
Creates a mechanism whereby Clubs, Schools and Not for Profit organisations can earn extra income using one of the Kent County Cricket Club Fixtures as the avenue.
Sell tickets, on a sale or return basis, at half price, printing on the full face value, so that groups can then onsell to members and supporters, generating the profit for themselves.
We have selected an attractive fixture to build this promotion around, to ensure it does not need to be a ‘hard sell’.
Pricing – adult tickets sold @ £7.50, face value £15, children £2.50, face value £5.00.
Volunteers Match – Friday 19 August, LVCC v Middlesex, @ Canterbury.
.Concept –
We are hoting at a fixture each year that recognises and rewards the work of the countless volunteers in the KCB Affiliated Cricket Clubs.
For each club we will supply them with four complimentary tickets per junior and/or senior team they operate.
In addition to this allocation we will make available extra tickets at half price (adults £5.00, children £2.50) to support the Clubs efforts to reward and retain their volunteers – be they coaches, managers, administrators, ground staff.
On this day we would also present all Volunteer related awards – Alan Albury, Sky – and highlight the presence of the Club Volunteer.
KCB Junior Day - Wednesday 31st August, LVCC v Essex, @ Canterbury.
Concept –
Reward and recognise all Junior Players, linked to KCB Affiliated Clubs, by providing them with a complimentary ticket to a day’s play at a Kent fixture.
We have selected a fixture during the school holidays which hopefully will be attractive to Juniors and their parents.
Groups can come as teams, with adult supervision. Children under 14 have to be accompanied by an adult, who will be offered half price tickets - £5.00.
