Second place Sunbury could only manage a winning draw against Cheam, whilst third place Weybridge lost at home to Guildford.

Banstead CC (230/9) had a losing draw with Ashtead CC (223/6)
Ashtead CC recorded a winning draw as they visited Banstead CC in the Ryman Surrey Championship Premier Division on Saturday.
Winning the toss Ashtead elected to bowl, but found early resistance in the all Surrey opening pair of Rory Burns (41) and Matthew Spriegel (60) who put on 96 for the first wicket.
After Matthew Friedlander removed Burns to break the opening partnership, wickets fell at more regular intervals. Tom Deighton then had Spriegel caught behind, to claim the first of what would become a five wicket haul.
Muhammad Jaffer (35) and Sam Woodward (26) provided some resistance for Banstead as they declared on 230/9, with Deighton finishing with figures of 5/64.
Ashtead had 55 overs to chase down their target, and they were led by an excellent innings of 81 from opener Zac Elkin.
Elkin was assisted by Dominic Sibley and Matthew Friedlander who both contributed 39, however two wickets apiece from Dan Gale, Richard Bedbrook and Spreigel meant that Ashtead could not keep their momentum going.
Falling eight runs short of their target, Ashtead finished on 223/6 and claimed four points from the close encounter.

Weybridge CC (197) lost to Guildford CC (199) by seven wickets.
Winning the toss and electing to bowl Guildford CC got off to a good start when Matthew Teale removed both openers, Zafar Ansari (4) and Harry Cripps (2) early on.
Anthony Atkinson (38) and Thomas Winslade (84) fought back for Weybridge with patient innings, before Chris Coombs picked up a five wicket haul. Finishing with figures of 5/49, Coombs helped remove Weybridge for 197 in 62.4 overs.
Guildford's response got off to a stuttering start as they lost both openers cheaply, Thomas Tremewan departing for a duck and Tarique Kalam for fourteen.
Andy Hollingsworth lead the counter attack for the visitors and batted superbly to finish unbeaten on 112. Hollingsworth shared a winning partnership of 123 with Robert H Jones (49) as they chased down their target in 54.3 overs.

Reigate Priory CC (181) beat Normandy CC (109) by 72 runs.
A strong bowling performance from Reigate Priory CC saw them record a 72 run win over Normandy CC. Having lost the toss Reigate Priory were asked to bat and their innings saw a number of batsmen make good starts without capitalising.
Alex Richard (28) and Chris Murtagh (21) provided some resistance early on for the hosts, before Matthew Bennett top scored with 41.
Matt Carter had bowled well all innings and cleaned up the tail to complete his five wicket haul, finishing with figures of 5/35. Despite early knocks of 26 and 28 from Anand Ashok and Howard Grice, Normandy's response never really got off the ground.
Ian Prowse (22) was the only other batsmen to record a score of double figures as Neil Saker ran through the middle order. Normandy were all out for 109 in 39.5 overs as Saker recorded his own fifer, posting figures of 5/35.

Cheam CC (226) had a losing draw with Sunbury CC (279)
Sunbury CC recorded a winning draw against Cheam CC as they look to push Wimbledon at the top of the Ryman Surrey Championship Premier Division.
Despite winning the toss and electing to bowl, Cheam had a tough time in the field against Sunbury. John Maunders opened the batting for Sunbury well scoring 56, his innings including two maximums.
Coming in at number three Adam London top scored for the visitors with an impressive century, his innings of 104 was ended by Surrey's Chris Schofield, and would be the first of three wickets for the leg spinner.
Chris Jordan also scored a useful half century as Sunbury declared on 279/7 after 63 overs. Cheam had 58 overs to reach the required total and their response got off to a strong start when openers David Houpapa (55) and Bradley Scriven (59) shared an opening stand of 83.
With the loss of their openers Cheam's innings also lost momentum, despite scores of 28 from Chris Schofield and 25 from Michael Burgess. The hosts reached 226/8 from their 58 overs as Matthew Todd picked up three wickets.

Wimbledon CC (125) beat Sutton CC (122) by four wickets.
A Strong bowling performance from Wimbledon CC saw them defeat Sutton CC by four wickets and extend their lead at the top of the Ryman Surrey Championship Premier Division.
Having won the toss Sutton CC elected to bat, but struggled in the face of impressive bowling from both Sebastian Franke-Matthecka (5/35) and Darren Hooey (4/28).
Only two batsmen Krishna Dwarka (39) Pradeep Jeyapragashtharan (35) made scores of note, as the visitors were bowled all out for 122 in 36.2 overs.
For a while it appeared that Sutton's total may be enough thanks to a superb spell of bowling from Greg Betz (6/52). The Wimbledon bowler took all six wickets as the hosts were reduced to 72/6.
However a seventh wicket partnership between Martin Kain (52) and Will Leith (22) saw the batting side over the line as they reached their target in 27.1 overs for the loss of six wickets.
