Kadeer Ali in action
Kadeer Ali hit an unbeaten 127 for West Bromwich Dartmouth.CC at the weekend to become the LCA Batsman of the Week.
The 29-year old scored the runs in the clubs winning draw against Brockhampton.CC in the Birmingham & District Premier League.
Ali hit 7 fours and 8 sixes on his way to 127, and was well supported by Navdeep Poonia who smashed 74 in 75 balls to help West Bromwich to 301 for 5 batting first.
Opener Adam Hewlett hit 50, and David Exall scored 51 as Brockhampton only reached 207 for 8 off their 55 overs.
4-51 from Aatif Khan was enough for the home side to secure a victory, but the winning draw gives West Bromwich breathing space from the relegation zone.
Ali has been a regular face on the county cricket scene over the past few years, with appearances for Gloucestershire and Worcestershire in recent seasons.
The all-rounder has made appearances for Leicestershire this year, and hit 48 for the county in a County Championship match against Derbyshire last month.
Ali also hit 94 for Minor Counties side Staffordshire in their recent stalemate with Norfolk in the Eastern Division.
West Bromwich face a crunch match this Saturday (28th July) against Shrewsbury.CC who sit just one place above them in the league.
