Australian all-rounder Gordon Kerr finished with figures of 8-30 for Llandudno.CC at the weekend to become the LCA Bowler of the Week.
The 26-year old took the wickets in the clubs comprehensive 123-run victory over Northop.CC in the North Wales Premier League.
Kerr had a positive start to the game with the bat, top-scoring with 46 as Llandudno could only post 179 for 8 declared off 50 overs.
Bart Beswick and Darren Williams were the pick of the bowlers for Northop with three wickets each.
Chasing 180 for victory, I don’t think either side anticipated the impressive individual performance from Kerr that came next.
Six of the seamers wickets came as bowled as Northop collapsed to just 56 all-out with Jack Darcy’s 11 the only score to reach double figures for the visitors.
It took less than 16 overs for Kerr in partnership with Jack Rimmington (2-22) to dismiss Northop.
The victory for Llandudno keeps the pressure on league leaders Menai Bridge.CC who sit just 17 points adrift at the top.
Kerr, who despite being of Australian nationality holds a British passport, has been in impressive form with the ball for Llandudno this season.
The fast bowler has taken 42 wickets for the club in the premier league this year, at an average of just 8.
Llandudno will be hoping to keep the pressure on leaders Menai Bridge when they face an away trip to Bangor.CC this Saturday (25th August).
