Jovan with KP

I was delighted to receive the Kevin Pietersen batting master class as an amazing present for my birthday. When I arrived I felt really excited at the thought of meeting the international legend for the first time. After the warm up KP gave an introductory talk about the session. He then stuck his pads on and got straight into the nets. He showed us some extraordinary shots. He showed us the powerful and very effective switch hit as well as the more traditional drives. We got the chance to see vicious ninety mile per hour bowling, not nice for the batsmen! We were also given the chance to face the bowling machine and practice the same shots as KP. My favourite shot we practiced was the switch hit. KP gave me a pat on the head for my efforts and I haven’t washed my hair since! KP was interactive and friendly to all the children and I enjoyed myself incredibly. At the end, we were all able to get a photo and an autograph with the great man. I would like to thank the LCA for this awesome experience and hope that they can organise more.
