“We'll definitely be running another Kingfisher Quiz & Curry Night, it was very successful!

Kingfisher, India’s No. 1 beer, launched a fantastic fundraising initiative ‘Kingfisher Quiz & Curry Night’ – a free, downloadable, interactive quiz pack – in March this year in order to help recreational clubs drive money back into grassroots cricket.

Over 700 clubs have now registered for the quiz – providing them access to the quiz pack which includes an interactive sports quiz video, hosted by Kingfisher’s brand ambassador Graeme Swann and a number of PCA Ambassadors, plus everything else clubs may need to carry out their best Quiz & Curry night yet; from handy tips, posters and ticket templates to the video quiz itself and question and answer sheets.

Wimbledon CC who ran their own Kingfisher Quiz & Curry Night in June had over 60 people in attendance at the event, raising £1,000 for the club and even sold out of Kingfisher!

Paul Wright, Wimbledon CC Club Treasurer says; “We definitely be running another Kingfisher Quiz & Curry Night, it was very successful – not only did we raise £1,000 for the club but everyone in attendance had a great night.”

Laura Mitchell Marketing Manager at Kingfisher says; “This isn’t just a campaign for us, the idea is to invest in clubs by removing the time and effort that so many volunteers put into creating fundraising events and providing a readymade solution, whilst having a great time along the way. And what better way to raise money for your club than with a quiz, a curry and a Kingfisher!”
