Formby Cricket Club
A Liverpool and District Cricket Competition XI are set to face a team full of former international stars, as the world famous Lashings XI will be facing the side at Formby Cricket Club later this month.
It is yet to be known which cricketing names will face the Liverpool league side but renowned names Saqlain Mushtaq, Ian Harvey, Shaun Udal, Courtney Walsh, Devon Malcolm and Dominic Cork all feature in the Lashings 2012 squad.
The match will take place on the 31st July, and will start at 2.30pm with the play likely to last until 6.30pm.
Aside from the cricket, there will be plenty of other activities throughout the day, including stalls and face-painting for the youngsters.
The Lashings team, captained by former England international Phil Defreitas, will also be able to mix with the crowd throughout the day, to answer any questions you may have.
Corporate lunch tables at the event are available for £650 for a table of 10 or £850 for a premier table with a Lashings player.
