Lytham Cricket Club won 17 matches in the Liverpool & District Premier League to take the title for second time in three years.
The club lost just two league matches all season to finish an impressive 100 points off 2nd place Ormskirk.CC.
Andrea Agathangelou of Highfield.CC hit a massive 964 runs throughout the season to finish top of the league’s run-scoring table whilst Rainhill.CC all-rounder Mohammed Qureshi took 75 wickets throughout the campaign to secure the bowlers equivalent.
It’s Colwyn Bay.CC and Rainford.CC who drop out of the Premier League though as they pair finished in the bottom two places this season.
Wallasey.CC and Fleetwood Hesketh.CC are the two teams who make the move into the top flight after they finished in the top two of the league’s First Division.
Wallasey are the side who go up as champions after winning an impressive 11 matches on their way to the title.
It’s commiserations though for Sefton Park.CC and Alder.CC who drop out of the First Division after finishing in the bottom two.
Its Leigh.CC who won the 1st XI’s 50-over knockout competition comfortably beating Northern.CC by 5 wickets in the final.
