A Rick Moore 76 not out and 4-27 off 10 overs from Craig Williamson proved to be too much for an unbeaten Grappenhall side.
Batting first, Oulton reached a below par 193-3 on a wicket that was difficult to score on. Moore was supported by Dan Leech (39) and Martin East, 51 off just 44 balls, with Andrew Mills adding a late 19 off 11 balls.
The confident Grappenhall side were soon in the mire as Craig Douglas had the opening duo of Green (23) and Roylance (5) out caught.
Ex Oulton Park player Mike Sambell (41) was the only Grappenhall batsmen to make a real impression, as Williamson’s left arm spin proved to be too much.
The much relied upon overseas Jason Smith failed to make progress and Williamson again undid the Australian.
Tight bowling from Emmett (2-51) increased the pressure on the Grappenhall lower order and wickets from Douglas (3-37) and Moore (1-10) finished Grappenhall off in an exciting finish with only 8 balls to spare.
Left hand batsmen James Loveridge (74) and Chris Hornby, 62 off 38 balls including 5 sixes, provided much of the runs for Davenham as they met Oulton Park in the Cheshire Shield on Sunday 1st July.
Davenham reached 214 before they were all out in the last of their 45 overs.
The opening spells of Berrington (0-24) and Williamson (3-43) restricted the Davenham openers, but much of the damage was done late in the innings.
Thomas Bannister-Wright finished with best figures of 5-44 which included a hat-trick.
In reply Moore hit a quick fire 24 but was out bowled by ex-Park player Ben Gough.
Leech (84) and wicket-keeper Pat Roberts (71*) were the stand out Oulton batsmen as the Davenham bowling attack struggled to maintain pressure.
Oulton reached 215-4 in the 39th over. The win rounded off an excellent weekend for the Little Budworth side.
