Werrington Cricket Club stayed unbeaten throughout their league campaign to pip St Just Cricket Club to the Cornwall Premier League title.
Werrington, who were last year’s runners-up, won nine matches on their way to the top of the league with brothers Alex & Ben Smeeth influential in their title bid.
It is a season of double triumph for Werrington as the club also won the Premier League’s 50 over competition, defeating rivals St Just by 7 wickets in the final.
But it’s commiserations for Troon.CC, who are relegated from the Premier League after finishing bottom with just one victory.
Redruth.CC will be the club to replace Troon in the top flight next season after staying unbeaten on their way to winning Division One.
The club were clear winners of the league, finishing 35 points off 2nd place side Hayle.CC.
It’s Luckett.CC and St Austell.CC 2nd team that drop out of Division One after finishing in the bottom two places of the league.
Menheniot/Looe CC - 1st XI and Stithians CC - 1st XI both comprehensively won their respective regional divisions to secure a place in Division One for next season.
In Cornwall’s Womens League, it was unbeaten St Austell.CC who took the title with five victories in as many matches.
It’s an impressive performance from St Austell, who made their first appearance in the womens league this season.
